Each Cut Price Racing EBAY and STORE listing provides details for the item(s) being sold. The Condition Meter is a condition description guide and does not guarantee suitablity or quality of an item. Descriptions of items within the advertisement/listing better explain any defects however if you require specific information, please ask us before you purchase the item.

The condition meter has five different settings, from poor condition (1 tick) to as-new or new condition (5 ticks).

As-New or New Condition

Item is either Brand New, or in as-new condition. It may have a small inconspicuous defect or mark but otherwise is in perfect condition. Brand New items are generally perfect unless the condition meter shows less than 5 ticks. Online STORE items usually fall into this category. Where a wear factor is being expressed (such as sprockets/chains/tyres) this rating indicates between 0-20% wear.

Very Good Condition

Item is in proper working condition but may have superficial marks/scratches, slight colour loss/fading, superficial damage, slight surface rust, or other slight defects. Generally, descriptions of the 'less than perfect' areas are included in the listing/advertisement unless they are unknown. Online STORE items may fall into this category. Where a wear factor is being expressed (such as sprockets/chains/tyres) this rating indicates between 20-40% wear.

Good Condition

Item is in good working condition. It may have some damage, marks and scratches, colour loss/fading, rust, or other defects which do not cause the item to malfunction. Descriptions of the problem areas are usually included in the listing/advertisement unless they are unknown. STORE items rarely fall into this category. Where a wear factor is being expressed (such as sprockets/chains/tyres) this rating indicates between 40-60% wear.

Fair Condition

Item is in working condition. It may have damage, marks and scratches, colour loss/fading, rust, or other defects which may require repair in order for continued safe use of the item. Descriptions of the problem areas are usually included in the listing/advertisement unless they are unknown. STORE items never fall into this category. Where a wear factor is being expressed (such as sprockets/chains/tyres) this rating indicates between 60-75% wear.

Poor Condition

Item is in either complete, partial or non-working condition. It may have damage, marks and scratches, colour loss/fading, rust, or other defects which may require repair in order to use the item. Descriptions of the problem areas or areas requiring repair are usually included in the listing/advertisement unless they are unknown. STORE items never fall into this category. Where a wear factor is being expressed (such as sprockets/chains/tyres) this rating indicates 75%+ wear.
