Adjustable Fuel Jet

I was wondering if anyone can tell me where the best setting is for the adjustable fuel jet as a start.

Honda clone, standard carb

hi,

if your on a standard engine, you can start with 3/4 turn out, but the best way to get a better tune is to hold your engine between 1/4-1/3 throttle and wind in slowly til engine starts to cough then back out 1/4 of a turn. then check your plug condition after your first drive and fine tune accordingly.
